Is Jake Paul a “Sc*mbag” as Dillon Danis says he is? Let’s look at the events that led up to Danis’ harsh comments on social media today! On June 1, Netflix announced that the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, scheduled for July 20 at AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas, has been postponed. Why? Just the other day, ‘Iron’ Mike suffered a medical emergency in a Miami to Los Angeles bound flight.

His team later revealed Tyson had suffered an ulcer flare, but fans and pundits were skeptical about the provided reason. Nevertheless, during the post fight press conference for the UFC 302 on June 2, Dana White was asked about his thoughts on the postponement of the fight. The UFC mastermind refused to comment on the situation despite claiming he knows the real reason behind it. Fast forward to today, ‘El Jefe’ has condemned ‘The Problem Child’ for not canceling the fight altogether.

Speaking to the reporters on June 2, White said, “Obviously I know a lot about it, but I’m not going to talk about it publicly. Yeah, for the first time probably ever in my life, I have no comment on something. That’s Mike’s world, and he gets p***ed at me every time I talk about that stuff”.

Referencing this comment from White, Danis claimed that he also knows exactly what’s going on with Mike Tyson, implying the ulcer flare up situation isn’t the fact in the matter. Claiming he is in close contact with Tyson’s well-wishers, Danis suggested White knows the truth as well but doesn’t want to get involved in the situation.

He then added, “It’s actually truly sad what’s going on. Jake Paul, you’re truly a scumbag for knowing what he’s going through and not ending this”. Despite all the concerns, Mike Tyson has maintained that he is feeling better and would still like to fight the former Disney star. Besides, the postponed fight date is yet to be announced officially, which is likely to come later in the week.

While Dillon Danis isn’t exactly happy about Jake Paul, the latter’s lifelong rival seems to have chimed in with his opinion.

KSI advocates for fight cancelation

On June 2, right around the time the fight was postponed, rumors suggested Tyson had suffered an internal blood clot, which was the likely culprit behind Tyson’s ulcer. While this wasn’t confirmed by Tyson’s team, KSI saw this as an opportunity to call for an outright cancellation. He wrote in a tweet on the same day, “If this is true, cancel the fight already”.

Since the postponement, KSI and Jake Paul have gone back and forth on social media, exploring the possibility of a showdown between them. Paul initially suggested a clash in July to fill Tyson’s void, but KSI appears to have his sights set on an August bout. Meanwhile, Paul has hinted at a showdown in October or November. With these timelines in mind, speculation arises that a potential face-off between them could materialize as early as February next year.

It’s currently unclear what’s really going on with Mike Tyson, but if Dillon Danis and White’s statements are anything to go by, something major seems to have happened to the former heavyweight champion. What do you think happened to Mike Tyson? Do you think Jake Paul is a “Sc*mbag”?
