Only six days remain until the influencer boxer and the MMA fighter settle their differences in the squared ring. The mega-crossover boxing event will unfold in front of thousands at the AO Arena in Manchester. Archenemies Logan Paul and Dillon Danis will join KSI and Tommy Fury on the prime card on October 14. However, unsurprisingly, Dillon Danis has found himself in yet another X (Twitter) controversy.

Because of their ongoing beef, the fight between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis has reached the peak of anticipation. Dillon’s extremely efficient marketing strategy took the matchup from being an irrelevant stepping stone for Logan to being the only thing the boxing world could talk about. However, what caught everyone by surprise was Dillon taking a shot at the Hall of Fame announcer, Michael Buffer. What caused Dillon to aim his troll gun toward Buffer?

The legendary announcer took to X recently to share a poster of the fight. He tagged KSI, Tommy, and Logan but left out Dillon. This mistake from Buffer did not sit well with ‘El Jefe.’ After Buffer’s tweet went live on X, Dillon Danis, known for his antics on the platform, quickly found it. Replying to the tweet, ‘El Jefe’ labeled the well-known announcer as a hater, claiming he tagged everyone but him. Dillon wrote, “What a hater tagged everyone but me.”

In the initial tweet, Buffer tried to promote the upcoming matchup, claiming he would be announcing the fight. He wrote, “One week to go! I’ll be in Manchester for the official weigh-in and, of course, on FIGHT NIGHT! CAN’T WAIT!” Even the initial post garnered remarks from fans about not including Dillon Danis.

It could have been a small mistake on Buffer’s part, but it could also have been intentional. There is no update on a pre-existing beef between Dillon and Buffer. Some people also speculated Dillon might eventually pull out of the fight. So that might be one reason why Buffer chose not to tag him. But, a question still remains–is Dillon Danis pulling out of the fight?

Has Dillon Pulled out of the fight?

Despite being known for his grappling skills, Dillon hasn’t been in a lot of MMA fights. He holds an undefeated record of 2-0 in MMA. Dillon was supposed to make his boxing debut against KSI back in January, but he pulled out, claiming injury. He got another opportunity to make his debut against Logan, but one of his posts on X indicates he might be pulling out again.

On October 6, Dillon tweeted a video of Logan Paul talking about his fiance’s lawsuit against him. Along with the clip, Dillon wrote, “Logan bragging about lawsuits again he isn’t built for the fight game, this p***y doesn’t deserve me I’m out.”

Even Danis’ stand-in, Mike Perry, contributed to the speculations by claiming he would be fighting Logan Paul. However, in a later tweet, Dillon clarified that he was not pulling out of the fight. Buffer excluding Dillon from his tweet can be an indication that the two are involved in some feud. However, only time can tell what’s really the case. What do you think about the tweet? Will Dillon Danis pull out of the fight? Tell us in the comments below.
