YouTube sensation KSI is ready to get back into action after beating two opponents in one night. The British YouTuber will now face Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu trainer and former Bellator fighter Dillon Danis. The two will square off on January 14th at the Misfit’s boxing event.

Moreover, the news came just a day after KSI and Danis got in an altercation at the Misfits 003 boxing weigh-ins. Danis got into a scuffle with KSI, who even and even threw a punch at him. ‘El Jefe’ then got into an altercation with one of Jake Paul’s team members, Anthony Taylor, who landed a punch on Danis.

Danis has a 2-0  record in MMA but has not competed in the sport in almost three years. His last victory came after a first-round submission win over Max Humphrey at Bellator 222 in 2019. However, Danis has been making headlines for various incidents during his hiatus. This included an altercation with a bouncer who almost choked out the former MMA fighter.

This was not all, as the fans were quick to trash KSI for seemingly choosing an easy opponent, despite his rival Jake Paul increasing his competition with every fight he takes.

Fans react to KSI vs. Dillon Danis announcement

One fan asked how KSI planned to get closer to Paul when he picks lower-level opponents like Danis.

Another fan claimed that this fight was a ‘joke’ and that it was ’embarrassing’ for KSI to pick Danis as his next opponent.

Moreover, one fan also claimed that the British YouTuber needs to step up his level if he wanted to get closer to Paul.

One fan pointed out that while Paul was made fun of for choosing Ben Askren, a wrestler, as his next opponent, KSI is also facing a BJJ specialist.

Another fan hilariously stated that this fight would not sell any tickets due to its lackluster draws.

However, one fan compared Paul’s 4th fight, Askren, with KSI’s 4th opponent, Danis, and claimed that both were similar.

The fans were not shy to call out KSI for choosing another opponent, not on his level. Moreover, this reaction was only computed due to his last opponents also being way below his level. Nonetheless, it looks like the two will clash on January 14th at the OVO Arena in Wembley, live on the DAZN PPV.

What did you think about Danis as KSI’s next opponent? Let us know in the comments.
