Deontay Wilder is considered to be one of the best knockout artists in the history of the sport. With 42 of his 43 wins coming by way of knockout, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is definitely a scary fighter to get in the ring with. Outside the ring, Wilder has a larger-than-life personality, which is partly due to the sheer aura around his exceptional power. However, his three bouts against Tyson Fury did abate the perception the public at large had of him.

Tyson Fury is one of the greatest Heavyweights to ever grace the ring. A defeat at the hands of ‘The Gypsy King’ may not necessarily be career-ending. However, fans have been worried about Wilder’s career, following his trilogy with the Briton. Another heavyweight boxer has weighed in on the situation.

Jarrell Miller, in his past, has vehemently called out Wilder and is no big fan of the former WBC champion. Miller spoke about the state in which Wilder is currently after his two losses at the hands of Fury. He stated, “Deontay Wilder is not the same person, mentally. He still has that wonderful, powerful right hand, but there are some kinks in his armor, I see.”

Miller then elaborated on what led Wilder to the state that he currently is in. “When you believe all the things people around you are telling you, and then someone teaches you they’re full of s***, it’s hard for you to believe it. He was talking about how he’s Mike Tyson, a god and a killer. Now he sees he’s not that,” said Miller, via WorldBoxingNews.

He also stated that Wilder’s defeats against Fury gave him a reality check and hampered his ego. However, Miller gave credit where it was due. He complimented the right hand Wilder possessed which could “put you to sleep”.
