The YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and his long-time rival Tommy Fury finally had a staredown, setting the arena ablaze. The segment was followed by a highly exciting light heavyweight contest between Arthur Beterbiev and Anthony Yarde in London on Saturday night. The duo stepped inside the ring to promote their upcoming event which is set to take place on February 26 in Saudi Arabia. To everyone’s surprise, the face-off which was expected to go gentle turned out to be chaotic as the duo got physical.

While taking verbal shots at each other, they went nose-to-nose, and then the tensions increased so much that they began pushing each other. Fortunately, the security personnel took this seriously and they stepped in to calm down the event by separating them. A few minutes later they again came together and had a non-violent face-off.

In the recent past, YouTube boxing has become more famous than the actual title fights because these influential figures are bigger entertainers and are able to promote their events on a larger scale. As a result, many times these YouTube fighters have to face the wrath of core boxing fans who believe that these contests are an “embarrassment” to the community.

Apart from derating the event, many fans speculated that Fury will not appear again like always. No doubt this is a bigger concern than anything else for ‘The Problem Child’, who recently took to Twitter and confronted Fury. The Ohio-based native did not want Fury to pull out of the event at the last moment, stating some irrelevant excuses. In August 2021, when they were booked to fight, Fury changed his decision saying that the USA was not giving him permission to enter the state.
