He said, “It’s hard to go to bed after you read some of the comments that are posted, but I’ll take it. I feel very good, I’ve been talking to fighters and there’s a lot of interest; genuine interest.”

Sulaiman added, “And this had absolutely nothing to do with new belts and new fees and nothing financial. But I’ll take… People like to say it and blame everything on that and I understand.”

This could also be directed at fans agreeing with Floyd Mayweather and his comments on there being too many belts in boxing. The WBC President added, “I move on, I move forward and I stand tall with this decision. Because it takes a lot of research, a lot of data. Many people have been asking for something to be done.”
