The YouTube and internet sensation has been showing his support for the Merseyside club, Liverpool, which played in the UEFA Champions League final against the Spanish champions, Real Madrid.

Jake Paul trolled by fans for his soccer penalty
The Ohio-born fighter recently has voiced his support for Liverpool and its players. His liking for soccer came out of nowhere, as it wasn’t expected from him. Although that didn’t stop Jake Paul from showcasing his skills on Twitter.

Jake Paul showed him taking a penalty and kicking the ball in the goal in a video. Consequently, fans went berserk as they trolled him for not being able to kick the ball properly. Some fans hilariously asked whether he paid the goalkeeper to let the ball in.

On the other, some fans critiqued Paul’s technique while kicking the ball. One such fan stated, “Possibly the worst technique of striking a football that I’ve ever seen.”

Another fan hysterically compared Paul’s technique to that of a kid. He said, “That’s the technique of a kid trying to kick a ball with his wrong foot haha.”

It’s no surprise that the 25-year-old attracts trolls towards him. However, his penalty video has gained him an extra dose of roasts from fans.

Liverpool went up against the UCL royalty, Real Madrid, who had previously won the competition 13 times, more than any other club in the world. Furthermore, Real Madrid was coming off an incredible run of comeback wins against Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea, and Manchester City.

The Reds did their absolute best, as they were the team with the most chances and shots on target. However, the Belgian shot-stopper, Thibaut Courtois, saved the Spanish Champions by keeping Liverpool forwards from scoring even a single goal. Real Madrid won the final 1-0 in Paris on 28th May 2022.
