Back in the 1990s, Mike Tyson was the most flamboyant boxing star. His journey to fame was quick, and Tyson even became the heavyweight king at just 20. Also, he had an amazing team of trainers and a renowned promoter in Don King, who was visible in a lot of Tyson’s fights.

For many years, Tyson and King remained on great terms. Also, they seemed the ideal fighter-promoter duo. But in the late 2000s, things began to take an unusual turn and their relationship began deteriorating.
However, Don King recently made a staggering comment on his beef with ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’.

Speaking to Daily Mail, he said, “Everyone thought we were enemies — I love Mike,”

“He told me, If I tell the truth and say how you helped me… they won’t give me eye water to cry with. In fact they’ll condemn me. But if I tell a lie, they’ll give me some money, I said, Well, get your money, he added.”

In his prime, Tyson was climbing the ladders of success, rolling out fights that every hardcore fan wished for. In between his rise, ‘Iron’ Mike broke ties with King. Tyson suspected King cheated him for millions of dollars during their stint.

He proceeded legally and Tyson ended up getting $14 million in settlements. To the entire fight fraternity, the rivalry between the two men seemed out of the box. However, King’s recent comments will definitely startle the old boxing lovers.

Mike Tyson once chased Don King in Miami
Once in an interview with VLAD TV, Tyson said, “I’m on a beautiful jet and do the c***ine, and once I did the c***ine, and then it percolates, start percolating, I say to myself, Don is dissing me.”

“He said, ‘This is my m*ther f*****g plane’, he said my plane with the money still for me to pick me up. That’s a b***h s**t. And I don’t know why I said that I don’t know why, my man.”

Tyson later added about kicking Don King from the back seat of a car. Post which, King left him on the road with a shoebox. Later, a police officer dropped Tyson and his friends at the hotel.
