Jake Paul just came off a fresh victory against UFC legend Anderson Silva. While Paul is still basking in the glory of his recent success, he is already gearing up for his upcoming fights. He is in talks for a potential fight with British boxer Tommy Fury. But recently he has been warned to reconsider fighting Fury.

Former UFC star Chael Sonnen has retired from the UFC, but he is still active in combat sports through his YouTube show. While giving detailed information about the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight, Sonnen stated, “I don’t want to see Jake Paul versus Fury is something I’ve said to you a number of times. But the reason I don’t wanna say, I don’t want to see this happen to Jake quite frankly who has taken a risk and he’s working really hard. But he’s operating on his own money. Don’t do business with a guy that’s already burned you. You can’t trust that kid.”

Last year, a battle between Paul and Tommy Fury was planned, but Fury pulled out due to an injury. The two then agreed to meet again on August 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However, Fury again withdrew from the bout, claiming that he was having visa problems. Sonnen warned Paul to exercise caution before taking on Fury as he has some reservations about the fighter.

‘The Problem Child’ recently mentioned in a Tweet that he is open to facing Fury in the UK in February. He even urged British promoter Frank Warren to get the deal finalized in a week’s time. However, before citing his willingness to fight Fury, Paul had a face-off with controversial internet celebrity and former kickboxer Andrew Tate. This made it blatantly clear that the two are talking about the prospect of a fight.

Aside from that, the American Youtuber claimed that he would fight Floyd Mayweather—but only if Mayweather agrees to weigh 165 pounds. Although Paul is in trade negotiations with three intriguing opponents, only time will tell who he will face next.
