Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has responded to claims of Tyson Fury’s attendance at the fight. Reports suggested that the WBC champion will be among the 1000 fans in attendance at the venue when Anthony Joshua defends his belts against Kubrat Pulev. Many suggested this was part of his mind game. However, Hearn is not buying it.

Speaking to SkySports Boxing on YouTube, Hearn said, “I think he probably wants to see it you know. If I’m… You know, a fighter and I’m fighting someone, you want to see him up close. Don’t forget Anthony Joshua came to watch Oleksandr Usyk didn’t he.”

He explained why Joshua did it too, saying, “Not just because he was friends with Chisora; but the fact that he might be fighting Usyk at some stage. So I think Fury probably wants to see it in the flesh.”

Hearn then went on to say that he’s always welcome to attend and they have no problem with him being there. He said, “He’s more than welcome to attend.

“He’ll probably have his fingers crossed as well, like we all will. And if he can get the job done, the business done, maybe those two can get in the ring after and have a little chat and confirm that we’re all good to go.”
