On the 23rd of December, the boxing world will be tuning in to see one of the biggest cards in recent times. The Riyadh, Saudi Arabia card is set to feature Deontay Wilder in the main event and Anthony Joshua in the co-main event. And if that was not enough to rile to up, Light-heavyweight, Dmitry Bivol is set to make his comeback in the undercard.

Eddie Hearn on the potential involvement of DAZN

It is an undisputed fact that the ‘Day of Reckoning,’ event is quite grand. Subsequently, it requires it to be televised in an unprecedented manner. Along these lines, Hearn reveals that this fight card can be broadcasted— not just on a pay-per-view but also on DAZN. However, the same is subject to the willingness of the authorities involved and DAZN. He stated, “I mean that will be up to DAZN and obviously Saudis, but right now they obviously have announced they have the rights globally and we’ll see if it’s reached out to any other platforms.” 

The above revelation is only a testament to the fact that this fight card is unlike anything anyone has seen and is getting treated the same way. This fight card has ignited praise from the lineal heavyweight champion as well.

Oleksandr Usyk is in awe to witness the ‘Day Of Reckoning’ card

Many boxing pundits and fans are glad to see such an event in the sport. Including the heavyweight champion of the world, Oleksandr Usyk. While acknowledging he does not know much about it, The Ukrainian welcomes it and is all praise for it. He stated, “I’m not following the news within the last several weeks. But I saw some uh texts and messages in Instagram that the press conference took place,” He added, “These guys are fighting, and it’s great–it’s beautiful for our sport.”
