In a recent conversation with Boxing Social, he said, “I think it would be easier for me to make the Tyson Fury fight. At least there are parts of his team that I can have cordial conversations with, and Tyson Fury himself. I’ve met him, I know him and then on the other side.”

He continued, “There’s two times we tried to make the undisputed fight, the first time [with Wilder], I can’t even tell you the silence. They wouldn’t even have a meeting with me to discuss it.” (h/t Boxing Scene)

Fury and Wilder are all set to face each other in a trilogy on July 24th. Citing that, Hearn asserted that Tyson Fury’s win would fill him with confidence to book an undisputed 12-round bout with Joshua.
