Speaking to Boxing Social on YouTube, Hearn said, “I think that Ryan Garcia could have really, emotionally… unwrapped there. He never experienced that before and that’s when it’s a blessing to have experience and someone like Reynoso in the corner and I think he got him through the fight.”
The English promoter acknowledged this to the trainer himself. “I actually spoke to him after the fight, Reynoso, a couple of days after. I said, ‘I really believe your corner-work won him that fight’”, said Hearn.
