Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn may not be able to make it to the Teofimo Lopez vs George Kambosos Jr presser, as we stand just a few days away from the unified lightweight title fight. Hearn, who secured the right to host the fight after severe turmoils, clearly wanted to attend the event in person.

While he is expected to appear on the fight night at MSG in New York, the British promoter looks likely to miss the final media presser. The Matchroom kingpin recently turned to social media and expressed sorrow over British Airways’ canceled flight.

Eddie Hearn wrote, “BA flight canceled to NY. Get me out to this press conference #LopezKambososJr.”

From the UK to the USA, Hearn needs to cover a long path to make it to the venue. However, a private jet or a chartered flight can clearly come in handy and take Eddie Hearn to his much-anticipated event.

Teofimo Lopez will return to action after more than a year since his title win against Vasyl Lomachenko. Hence, this massive fight will clearly allure Hearn to craft his further plans.
