As per Michael Benson‘s tweet, Hearn is assuming Callum Smith will fight at the 175-pound division after his loss to Alvarez. In fact, Hearn even hinted he has an opponent lined up for Smith, who is none other than Joshua Buatsi. The Matchroom supremo is targeting this fight for the light-heavyweight world title.

Both Smith and Buatsi are represented by Hearn, and he firmly believes he can make this fight happen. But there’s no affirmation from Callum Smith’s corner yet. He hasn’t quite revealed his plans for the future.
