Eddie Hearn Makes a Bold Comparison – Says Canelo Alvarez and Anthony Joshua are Similar

A few days back, Hearn’s Matchroom Sport inked a 2-fight deal with the pound-for-pound king of boxing, Canelo Alvarez. Speaking to them he said, “‘AJ’, for me, is someone that impresses me more and more every day. In fact, spending time with Canelo Alvarez, the two are very similar. Not in terms of fighting style, but in terms of mindset, love of the sport, and their willingness to improve, and their willingness to create a legacy.”

The Matchroom supremo lauded both his fighters for sharing a congenial space of mind. Both of them have hung in the sport for a long period and are going super strong in their divisions.
