The historic clash between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor turned out to be a massive success. However, apart from the fighters, the promoters of the women’s blockbuster, Eddie Hearn and Jake Paul, played a very important role. Interestingly, in one exchange, they settled on a million-dollar bet, but later, because of some reasons, the bet did not take place.

Hearn said, “I spoke to Sean Palmer. Who is our sort of chief head of council and when I came off the stage, he was like, you know, sort of? It’s not a great look. It’s a very gray area of a promoter betting on a fight that he is promoting right in terms of integrity. It doesn’t look great.”
Furthermore, Matchroom Boxing’s chairperson stated he spoke to Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul. He added, “Well, we can’t really do the bet I think, but do you want to come up with something different and we sort of kicked through a few ideas. We didn’t actually finalize anything.”

This made ‘The Problem Child’ propose a bet. Putting forth his all jewelry, Paul persuaded the Englishman to make a deal. However, as Hearn showed no interest in jewelry and tattoo bets, they settled on a million-dollar wager.
Unfortunately, as the bet could not reach fruition, the duo replaced it with another deal later.
