The undisputed heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is inching closer with every passing day. Over the past few weeks, this fight has made immense progress in terms of purses and other formalities. However, something that’s still unclear is the probable location for this fight. Recently, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, spilled the beans on a supposed location for this fight.
He also shed light on why and how this location can be in contention..
Talking to Fight Hub TV, Hearn said, “Probably, I mean, subject to the fact that you know these people are going to do something. You know, Las Vegas has been dead for a year. It’s brutalized the market there and they’re going to have to come out fighting and if it’s open in May, well they could land the fight in June and I wouldn’t mind a trip to Vegas in June for this fight.”

Both Joshua and Fury’s promotions want to stage this fight in the biggest way possible. But, as the pandemic put the world on standstill, many countries and their states haven’t yet recovered and still have massive restrictions.
Though Hearn feels Vegas is not a top priority location, he believes that Joshua vs Fury can move to the United States or particularly Las Vegas if they’re ready to host it by May or June this year.
