What is the significance of the bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury?

Anthony Joshua (23-1, 21 KOs) and Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 21 KOs) are two of the biggest stars in boxing. Besides that, they share all the major heavyweight titles amongst themselves. This is one reason the fight could not be made at a better time than this.

Fury has been seen working on the heavy bag in a couple of his videos lately, while Joshua has been hitting the pads hard, demonstrating his knockout power.

“But he still loves knocking people out-and when you see the drills, when you see the pads and you see that spite in his shots. That’s something not just what they are working on, that’s something that’s coming from the inside.”

With Joshua and Fury both excited and confident to face each other, they still have to steer clear of their next opponents. Considering everything goes well, we’re probably looking at a fight that’ll be one of the biggest bouts in history.
