Eddie Hearn Says He’ll Get ‘Knocked Out’ by Jake Paul if Katie Taylor Loses in New Deal

The most valuable promotions’ Jake Paul can literally do anything. The 25-year-old, along with renowned English promoter Eddie Hearn, has been phenomenal in selling the biggest boxing event in women’s boxing history. He added certain aspects to the event promotion that were impossible without him. ‘The Problem child’ has a $1 million bet on the fight. However, because of the cancellation of this bet, the pair has followed it with another big deal.

Talking to DAZN Boxing, ahead of the much-awaited women’s blockbuster between undisputed lightweight champion Katie Taylor and the unified WBO, WBC, and the IBF featherweight champion Amanda Serrano, the promoters of the event unveiled a new deal.

Michael Benson of Talksport reported it on Twitter. He wrote, “Eddie Hearn’s $1million bet with Jake Paul on Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano is off as promoters legally can’t bet, but they have a new deal: “It probably involves me getting knocked out if Katie loses. If not, it’s gonna involve Jake Paul getting knocked out.”

How did the $1 million bet between Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn came to fruition?

Before the fight, the tensions not only sheltered between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor but also had a big impact on the promoters of the fight. The difference of opinion between the fellow promoters regarding the winner of a historic clash in women’s boxing has added an interesting chapter to the fight.

It all happened during the last major conference for a fight.

Hearn and Paul both insisted on their fighter’s victory in the epic clash. This made ‘The Problem Child’ propose a bet. Putting forth his all jewelry, Paul persuaded the English to make a deal. However, Hearn showed no interest in jewelry and tattoo bets. So the talks decided on a dollar one million deal as a price for the winner of the bet.

However, it did not work out as mentioned above and was replaced by a new deal.
