Matchroom headman Eddie Hearn has contributed to the recent confusions regarding Billy Joe Saunder’s health, and it seems like there’s nothing to worry about the WBO champion. A few days ago, Saunders took to social media and hinted at facing some medical complexities.

In interaction with iFL TV, he also admitted to contracting the flu and clarified taking a 10-day gap from his ongoing training camp.

Meanwhile, he also turned to social media to reveal his degrading health. But it didn’t prove to be credible as fans mocked him for making excuses.

While Saunders is scheduled to meet P4P king Canelo Alvarez in a 168 lbs title unification showdown, many believe him to excuse the fight by making fake medical concerns.

Meanwhile, Eddie Hearn’s response seems to have strengthened the belief. The promoter took social media and claimed that he is receiving media calls, enquiring whether the WBO champion has actually torn his scrotum.

Meanwhile, Saunders also ended his year-long hiatus from action by beating Martin Murray via decision. So he is also back with activity and with full training camp, the undefeated Briton can land an upset against Alvarez.

But it won’t be an undemanding task. And Saunders will have to push the limits. That said, it will be an intriguing fight for fans all over the world.
