Recently, the Matchroom boss, Eddie Hearn, spoke to Seconds Out about this fight and particularly Tommy Fury. He said, “It’s just the most embarrassing thing if he loses that fight.”

“It’s a b**lsy move by Jay Paul because if he beats him, he’s really made a statement. But if Tommy Fury loses, he will I mean, it’s got to change his name or something. He shouldn’t change his name. He should just go to a desert island somewhere and just stay there for life,” Hearn added.

Fury and Paul have engaged in frequent online banter. However, on December 18, they will have to let their fists do the talking.
