The super-middleweight division might witness its biggest fight of this decade if Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant collide. The duo is in contention to fight each other for all the super-middleweight titles on the line.

Earlier, a fight between the two was targeted for September, but due to some external factors, it failed to reach fruition. However, talks between the two teams have resumed again and this time, everyone is optimistic about hearing a positive conclusion.

Recently, Canelo’s coach, Eddy Reynoso, who was in an exclusive interview with Fight Hub TV, commented on this fight.

In his last fight, Canelo Alvarez, who took on the Brit, Billy Joe Saunders, registered one of his biggest wins at this weight class.

Alvarez, in the initial rounds, took time to settle, but as he got comfortable, he began his assault on ‘Superb’. This left the latter completely outclassed, and he couldn’t face the wrath of the Mexican boxer’s power. As a result, the fight concluded via an RTD in round 8.

This was just a snippet of Canelo Alvarez’s brutal power. That said, as his battle with Plant will undoubtedly get the best out of him, everyone might get to see another thrilling performance from the face of boxing.
