Edgar Berlanga has risen to vast fame in no time. The undefeated fighter fought thrice last year and won all of them. He has no intentions of stopping and already looks super-ready for his next bout. The Top Rank fighter’s manager, Keith Connolly, has unveiled a piece of news surrounding his return fight for this April.

Mike Coppinger reported this and rolled out the news on his official Twitter handle.

“Keith Connolly tells The Athletic he’s in discussions with Top Rank regarding the return of Edgar Berlanga, who has 16 first-round KOs in 16 fights. Fight being eyed for early April with a true step-up bout in June on Puerto Rican Day Parade Weekend in New York.”

More than anyone else, it will thrill Berlanga to gift his fans a treat on a special day for his country. He is also cited as the ‘Puerto Rican Mike Tyson’ because of his daunting track record.

Until now, the ‘Chosen One’ has fought 16 times and won all of those fights via T/KO. This makes him a staunch contender in one of the most stacked divisions.
