Talking to IFL TV, Amir Khan said that he finds Jake Paul “infuriating.” On the other side of the ring, BJ Flores, a seasoned boxer, commentator, and Paul’s trainer, immediately hit back. Flores has had a feud with Khan since as early as 2015. The trainer emphasized the significance of two key elements in boxing – power, and chin. He made it clear that Amir, in his view, lacked the power required in the welterweight division. Moreover, Flores pointed out that going up against Jake Paul at 185 pounds would likely lead to an unfavorable outcome for Amir. “He never had power at 147 and fighting A fresh Jake Paul at 185 ends very badly for him. Enjoy your retirement champ,” mocked BJ Flores.

In the interview, Khan also went on to add that he can take apart the internet sensation if he were to ever get back into the ring. He went on to say that Jake Paul is a little too “full of himself”, and needs to take it down a notch.

It is a highly debatable prospect that Airm Khan would step into the ring just to fight Jake Paul. Also, Khan’s two-year ban is still continuing. What is also important to consider is, would Jake Paul even accept a fight with the boxer given that he has already fought more seasoned boxers than Khan.

King Khan’s Potential Comeback

Khan faced off against Kell Brook, back in 2022, in a match that ended in his defeat through a sixth-round TKO. Khan also tested positive for using an anabolic agent Ostarine, incurring himself a two-year ban. However, the ban itself seemed redundant, as the boxer decided to retire soon after the bout. Although It is obvious that the former boxer can hold his own, it remains to be seen whether he would give up his retirement just to teach a young boxer a lesson.
