The unified Welterweight champion holding WBA, WBC, and IBF titles thanked God following another car accident in the greater Dallas area. Victim of a major car accident on Saturday evening, the pound-for-pound fighter, fortunately, managed to avoid any major injury in the heydays of his fighting career.

After surviving the accident, the former light welterweight champion captured the aftermath on his live Instagram session, stating that it was not his fault. Confirming a minor leg injury, the 32-year-old blamed the other driver for the car crash, who was identified as a 14-year-old kid.

According to ‘The Truth’, the unlicensed underage kid ran the red light and hit his SUV’s head, resulting in a major car crash. Per investigation, the kid took his mother’s car for a ride without permission.

“The motherf***** hit me. f**ked my leg up. It’s crazy. He ran the light. Always happen to me. I’ve seen him coming too. He ran right into me”, Spence said.

Following this horrific car crash, Spence Jr. talked to the ES NEWS reporter for the first time when he was out to watch the much-anticipated lightweight clash between Frank martin and Michael Rivera.

Talking about the accident, he said, “I wanna say no serious injuries on the top, thank God for that man. I wasn’t injured, he wasn’t injured, and we weren’t having serious injuries. So it’s all blessings. I think two days before that kid was angry and the car crashed. A lot of things we take for granted. We shouldn’t take it for granted.”

This is the third time since 2019 that Spence Jr. was involved in a car crash.

Errol Spence Jr. and his car crash history

The undefeated southpaw had serious injuries in a major car crash in 2019. Back then, the world-champion boxer had lost control of his Ferrari while driving in the early hours of the morning. Unlike in this car accident, he was ejected out of the car and suffered severe injuries.
