Errol Spence Jr. Reveals How Floyd Mayweather Is ‘Robbing Y’all’

Floyd Mayweather is back once again. He will appear in a lucrative open-weight boxing exhibition against Logan Paul on June 6. Given the open-weight rules, ‘The Maverick’, who will be heavier, may have the advantage. However, welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. backed ‘Money’.

He envisioned a lopsided win for the unbeaten star and opened up on how Floyd Mayweather relinquished his retirement to bag another big payday.

In a chat with Barbershop Conversations, Errol Spence Jr. said, “Floyd’s doing another money grab, s***. It is what it is. Floyd’s gonna eat him up, probably stop him. Floyd’s just doing what he always do man, putting his ski mask on and robbing y’all.”

Per reports, Mayweather is guaranteed a base price of $10 million, with 50% PPV shares. Hence, the five-division world champion can earn up to $100 million in one night. While Mayweather vs Paul hardly has any resemblance to the traditional boxing fights, it seems to have become a money-making machine for both.

Furthermore, Mayweather won’t put his 50-0 record on the line against Logan Paul. So irrespective of the fight’s outcome, he will remain unbeaten. However, a loss against the YouTuber can stain Mayweather’s boxing legacy.

The lucrative PPV showdown has some bizarre rules. There will be no judges and no official winner. However, unlike any other exhibition, both men will be allowed to knock each other out. Hence, every three-minute round can see several possibilities come to fruition.
