Marshall is a 6x pro bowler who last played with New Orleans Saints in 2018. He took up boxing last year and recently visited Holyfield’s gym in Florida to train with one of the best in the sport.
Holyfield continued, “He got that reach just like that, but he got trunks. He got them big arms. You know he hit somebody with one of them, you know what, he ain’t got to hit ’em right. Maybe if he miss, they still may fall.”
‘The Real Deal’ had words of wisdom for the NFL big-wig. He shared high regards for Marshall’s unprecedented power, which he believes is better than many other boxers in the current game.
Since he took up boxing, Brandon Marshall called out some staunch heavyweights like Anthony Joshua, Luis Ortiz, and even Deontay Wilder.
Is Deontay Wilder the hardest hitting modern-heavyweight?
The ‘Bronze Bomber’ has the most bizarre strength in the big men’s division. Wilder has 42 wins in his professional career, out of which a whopping 41 have arrived via T/KO. He exhibits an astonishing knockout ratio of 93.18%. His colossal frame coupled with wild punches makes him a top-graded heavyweight of this era.
