The last exhibition bout of Mike Tyson gained mammoth attention from combat sports fans all over the world. Ever since that fight, Tyson expressed his desire to re-enter the ring for another exhibition bout.

It seems that ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ already has an opponent waiting on either side for him- none other than his former rival, Evander Holyfield.

‘The Real Deal’ was in a chat with Brian Custer when he shed light on this much debatable topic.

“I would say yes! I think it’s close, I think it’s something that we both want to do and I think it can happen,” said Holyfield.

Ever since Tyson contended with Roy Jones Jr, many big-wig boxers from the retro era have shown their keenness on coming back to the ring. Holyfield is one of them, and nothing can be better than ‘The Real Deal’ hinting at a trilogy with Mike Tyson. Though it will go down as an exhibition, this fight has the audacity to sell itself in massive numbers.

Previously, Holyfield was in contention to take Mike Tyson on in an exhibition bout, but the fight couldn’t get on floors for some uncertainties.

Both Holyfield and Tyson want to impact an individual’s life by fighting for a good cause. That said, this bout doesn’t seem far-fetched from happening in 2021.

The first fight among them went a distance, but the ‘Real Deal’ finally dispatched his rival in round 11. The second fight saw the famous ear-bite incident, wherein The Baddest Man On The Planet got disqualified. Holyfield retained his titles both times, but the rivalry with Tyson continued for years.

Fans will be intrigued to see the two lock horns almost a quarter of a century later. On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you for this trilogy?
