Both fighters have continued training and have posted regular updates. However, Holyfield may have dropped the biggest hint yet. Lance Pugmire from ‘The Athletic’ broke the news on his Twitter, reporting that the 58-year-old told him he expects to fight Tyson on a “soon to be announced fight”.

.@holyfield tells me while training today that he expects to fight @MikeTyson for a third time in a soon-to-be-announced bout on @triller and when I asked him if the card would include @TeofimoLopez, he responded that would be “cool.” “Now excuse me, I have to go jump rope.”

Furthermore, the legendary boxer confirmed the fight would be on Triller and even said having Teofimo Lopez on the card would be ‘cool’. However, his unofficial announcement of the Tyson fight will take the headlines.
The history between Tyson and Holyfield is well documented. Therefore, fans called for the fight between the two hard-hitting fighters. Inasmuch, this could be an entertaining fight outside the ring too.

Other details of the Evander Holyfield vs. Mike Tyson fight

This exhibition has been in the works for a while now. However, this is the first time there has been no talk about an announcement. Tyson previously confirmed Holyfield as a consideration. However, he also said other opponents were in line.
Despite this, he revealed Holyfield would be the most likely opponent, while he also said the bout could possibly be held in Dubai. For now, this is all we know about the fight. Other aspects like the number of rounds and duration of the rounds are still unknown.

As Holyfield mentioned, the prospect of Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos Jr. being the co-main event is a real possibility. Triller, who will host the potential Holyfield-Tyson fight, won the purse bid for staging that fight. As a result, we may see Lopez fight on the same card as his hero.
