In an interaction with Brian Custer, ‘The Real Deal’ opened up on the incident and said, “He (Mike Tyson) tipped the piece of my ear, a piece of it all. But at that time, I already forgave him because, in the ring, I would get ready. I am getting ready to bite him back. I am going to bite him back in the face and I will go right there. That said, Holyfield didn’t do the same and walked away after being bit. But Mike Tyson appeared to have lost his cool by then. The two got involved in a post-fight brawl, and the fight night ended on an unpleasant note.

Nevertheless, Tyson and Holyfield cleared the differences between each other and built their friendship after retiring from boxing. Today, they are two of the prime heavyweight historians alive in the boxing community.

Will Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield 3 happen?

After Tyson’s sensational return against Roy Jones Jr, Holyfield has demanded to face him for one last time. Meanwhile, several other pugilists have offered the same including Shannon Briggs. But Holyfield seems to advance the race.

Although Tyson hasn’t responded to the offer, Holyfield has already passed a green signal from his end. He wants to bag the exhibition and awaits a response.

If Tyson wants to do the same, we can witness a historic fight with mutual respect between both the boxers inside the ring. Considering their old age, the trilogy fight will be another exhibition if it ever meets fruition.
