Despite this, he has been handed a two-year ban from the UKAD after he tested positive for a banned substance known as ostarine. The substance has been classified as PED and is banned in many sports organizations and competitions, including the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). However, Khan has claimed that he did not take the substance intentionally.

The news has certainly caused a stir among fans, given the recent incident with Conor Benn who also tested positive for a banned substance named clomifene. However, he has now been cleared and will gear up for his comeback. Unfortunately for Khan, this might be something that will potentially tarnish his legacy in the sport. The fans were not too kind to the former champion as they reacted to the news.

Lastly, user @neilshippers wondered why it took more than a year to ban Khan after the fight took place.

The ban will not affect Khan much as he has already retired from the sport. However, this will be a blow to any future plans he has in the sport. Nevertheless, he will be remembered for his accomplishments in the ring, including his Olympic silver medal and his world championship titles.
