‘Everybody in Front of You Is a Threat’: Gervonta Davis Remains Brutally Honest in ‘Training’ Revelation Ahead of Garcia Fight

Lightweight contender Gervonta Davis has become one of the top prospects in boxing. With an undefeated record of 27-0 and wins over former champions, Tank’ is proving to the world that he is indeed one of the best. Moreover, there has been speculation about him facing another prospect from the division and his long-time nemesis Ryan Garcia.

Although this bout has been talked about for a long time, it has never materialized. However, as Davis now escapes the banner of Mayweather promotions, a fight like this could be made in the future.

But for the time being, he will face Hector Luis Garcia on January 7 at Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena.

Moreover, Tank was even on tour promoting the fight where he made an interesting revelation. In the event, he claimed that he was a guy who was focused and made sure to study his opponents. He added that he kept a close eye on all his opponents, even on their daily routines to give him a psychological edge come fight night.

I was always a guy who stayed focused and know that everybody in front of you is a threat. You know what I mean. We know god’s here coming you know what I mean not to say I watch him. I watch him a lot, I watch all my opponents you know what I mean even down to training. I know what they doing day in and day out.” he said

This was an interesting revelation by ‘Tank‘ ahead of his next bout. Moreover, his opponent Garcia will now have another thing to worry about as Davis looks to add another win to his undefeated record.

Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia is planned for April 2023

It was recently revealed that plans for a fight between Ryan Garcia and Davis might be finalized. This was announced on the two fighter’s Instagram. While Davis will first have to beat Hector Luis Garcia to be eligible to face ‘Flash’, the chances are he most certainly will. Ryan, on the other hand, might also have a tune-up fight before the Davis matchup.

This matchup is the one boxing fans have been wanting to see for a long time. However, it seems like the wait might finally be over as the two pugilists get closer and closer to meeting inside the squared circle for one of boxing’s biggest fights.
