Mike Tyson reflects on the futility of revenge

In a recent episode of Hotboxin along with rapper J Balvin, Tyson talked about how he has matured as a person. He claimed that seeking revenge on other people was a waste of valuable time, which he had only a limited amount of.

Sometime not long ago, I thought, “Oh, I’m gonna get this motherf**ker. He’s gonna be f**ked.” That’s it, man! I don’t have the time, not enough time left. I can’t waste it on this. You notice that you’re getting close. The expiration date is getting close,” he said.

Tyson recognizes that as his own “expiration date” approaches, every moment becomes precious. Therefore, instead of investing energy in seeking vengeance, he now sees the need to utilize his time more effectively.
