Anthony Joshua has come across several critics in his boxing career, but Bob Arum may have been the worst of them all. The Top Rank Kingpin has never appreciated Joshua’s prowess and has always ridiculed him. Even before he lost to Oleksandr Usyk, Arum never really had any love for the Brit.

He had even favored Kubrat Pulev to beat Joshua in December 2020. While ‘AJ’ proved him wrong most of the time, his losses to Andy Ruiz Jr. and now Oleksandr Usyk evoked Bob Arum to demean Joshua once again.
In reaction, Anthony Joshua connected with iFL TV and said, “F*** Bob Arum. ‘Joshua’s a bottle job, he’s a cherry picker, he didn’t wanna fight Tyson Fury.’ F*** all that with all due respect. Take it how you want. He can’t talk s*** about me and think I’m gonna take it easy. He talks a lot of s***.” (H/T:- Michael Benson)

After his recent loss, Joshua has reportedly earned a rematch against Usyk. It will go down in 2022 and will be his massive opportunity to regain his lost belts. If he fails, he will no longer be a valid contender in the heavyweight title ride. Also, several critics will once again pounce upon the former heavyweight titlist, maybe even in a more brutal fashion.

While Joshua may ignore all of that, he cannot overlook his opponent.
Anthony Joshua is done with his losses
Having seen his second defeat, Joshua believes he will not lose any further. In the same interaction with iFL TV, he has claimed that he will beat down Usyk in the rematch. And that can potentially revive the fight talks between him and Tyson Fury.

Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum had preferred the idea after Joshua’s win against Pulev last year. Unfortunately for the Joshua camp, Usyk ended all hopes by snatching the WBA, WBO, IBF, titles.
