‘Sugar’ and Hearns battled each other out twice in the retro boxing era. In their first contest, Leonard ended Hearns’ undefeated boxing stint by finishing him in round 14. The duo engaged in a sheer tussle with each other and in the podcast, ‘Sugar’ even admitted that this was one of his toughest fights.

After this loss, a heartbroken ‘Hitman’ approached Ray Leonard and adjudged him as the best.
