“F*** You” – Oscar De La Hoya Takes a Dig at Canelo Alvarez

It’s been a while since Canelo Alvarez and Oscar De La Hoya parted ways with each other. However, the rift between them hasn’t ended and they never miss a chance to mock each other.

Recently, Fight Hype shared a video wherein ‘Golden Boy’ mocked Canelo Alvarez. “F*** you! F**kin all that s***. F**kin knock your a** out.”

Over the past few months, De La Hoya has immersed himself in some grilling boxing workouts. In fact, he’s keen to make his pro-boxing comeback. But until now, he isn’t lined up with any opponent as such. However, with his fiery warning to Canelo Alvarez, it seems De La Hoya is ready to take on the Mexican boxing great.

Alvarez and De La Hoya officially parted ways in November 2020. Prior to that, both of them agreed on an 11 fight deal which officially got inked in 2018. In this deal, Alvarez was set to make a whopping $365 million. But as things between the pair didn’t go so well, they parted ways rather acrimoniously.

With ‘Golden Boy’s above comments, it seems his beef with Canelo will now reach new heights. For now, his comments haven’t reached Saul Alvarez. But it’ll be interesting to see if the Guadalajara boxer reacts to these words.

Although Canelo Alvarez shares a huge rift with Oscar De La Hoya, he still won’t take up any fight against him. This is predominantly because the Mexican boxer is currently on his pursuit to become the undisputed champ. And prior to that, he won’t consider fighting anyone else.

However, his verbal warfare with ‘Golden Boy’ might still continue for a while. That said, the fans wouldn’t mind a light banter between two boxing hotshots.
