Fabio Wardley continued his rise to the top with yet another stunning victory. The undefeated Englishman extended his record to 11-0 with a knockout victory over Eric Molina. And after the fight, the 26-year-old revealed why it was the perfect fight for him.
The two fought on the undercard of the Dillian Whyte vs. Alexander Povetkin rematch. This was Wardley’s first real test in the division, and with a fantastic finish to a lackluster fight, he showed that he was capable of cutting it at the top

Wardley, who spoke at the post-fight interview, gave his thoughts on the bout. He said, “Don’t get me wrong, I felt it, this is the test I needed. Someone to test me, some to put it on me. Someone who’s not going to let me off the hook, and I’ll let you know, I’m here if you want to go. If you want to go toe-to-toe, then that’s what happens to you.”
Therefore, with these comments, the 11-0 boxer sent a warning to the other contenders in the division. The undefeated Brit didn’t have his best fight and still got the knockout without taking much damage.
