However, the risk of these devastating KOs cannot be ignored, especially in unregulated underground matches. These events often do not have the proper equipment to conduct a boxing match, which ends up making these fights much more dangerous.

Such was the case with the promotion TDFC X as they organized a bare-knuckle boxing match. The match ended with a devastating KO that instantly went viral due to its brutality.

The knocked-out fighter started waving his hands unconsciously in a scary moment. Moreover, fans were quick to react as they feared for the well-being of the fighters.

Fans react to the scary knockout

One fan stated that although the knockout was exciting, this could result in brain damage and there should have been some headgear used to protect the fighters.

Another fan pointed out the that response of the knockout fighter was a result of brain damage.

Moreover, another fan seemed confused as to why the fighter was waving his hands unconsciously after getting knocked out.

However, one fan was skeptical of this claiming that a knockout automatically does not result in brain damage.

One fan also mocked the fighter’s hand reaction, comparing it to a very famous song.

Lastly, one fan stated that this could be a seizure and did not understand why anyone found it funny.

The topic of fighter safety has long been debated in combat sports. Due to its nature, combat sports pose a greater threat to the life of an individual than other sports. However, that should not mean that fighter safety can be ignored. Many fans and boxing promotions have called out these bare-knuckle fighting promotions for their lack of concern for fighter safety.
