For 15-year-old Xavier Hullaby, it was more than just a hobby; it was an outlet for personal growth. Engaging in the rigorous training and discipline required by the sport, Xavier discovered newfound confidence and strength within himself. His commitment to his boxing classes reflected his desire to be physically and mentally strong.

However, the sport would eventually become a detriment to him after he was fatally shot outside his family’s apartment complex in Southwest Fort Worth. The young boy, described by his family as a good kid, was reportedly gunned down while returning home from his boxing class. The news was broken down by Fox 4 News who are working closely with the police.

The police have requested the public’s assistance in gathering evidence and identifying the suspect. Although the authorities have not yet revealed details about the events leading up to the shooting, they have clarified that it appears to be an isolated incident. There have been many instances where people have spoken up about the rising gun violence in America. Moreover, this incident was no different as the news of his untimely death sent shockwaves through the tight-knit community, leaving many in mourning.

A Facebook user named Lisa Anderson shared her love and prayers for Hullaby also asking for justice for the young boy. “Love & Prayers. Justice Justice Justice,” she wrote. Another user named Linda LaMorgese found this news sad as well as heartbreaking. “So sad and heartbreaking,” he wrote.

Moreover, a user named Misty Morran sympathized with the 15-year-old’s family and shared her condolences as well. She also wished that the perpetrator of this crime was caught and given justice to the boy. “My condolences to the family and hope justice gets served no body deserves this I’m so sorry for her loss and can’t imagine what she is going through,” she wrote.

Along similar lines, a user named Paula Schmidt too sent her prayers for the family of Hullaby. “Prayers for your family,” she wrote. One user pointed out the problem of rising gun violence in America leading to deaths like this. “Sunday is Gunday, Monday is Gunday, Tuesday is Gunday, Wednesday is Gunday, Thursday is Gunday, Friday is Gunday, Saturday is Gunday … In America, everyday is Gunday!” she wrote.
