Floyd Mayweather might have disheartened several fans by failing to win the exhibition against Logan Paul on June 6th. However, heavyweight icon Mike Tyson doesn’t seem vexed with the outcome.

While Tyson and Mayweather don’t seem to share a healthy relationship, ‘Iron’ Mike still wanted to see Mayweather continue his fighting career.

The 54-year-old connected with Zab Judah in an Instagram live session to offer his opinion on Mayweather vs Paul. Tyson ridiculed the unbeaten boxer’s choice of opponent and passed some valuable advice regarding his next move.

That said, the youngest heavyweight champion also wanted to see a rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Mike Tyson said, “I think Floyd [Mayweather] should keep on trying, I don’t think he should fight a f*** cruiserweight you know. But I think you should continue fighting guys of his weight, what the f*** is he doing?

“Fight Pacquiao again, or something. Keep in shape, you know what I mean.”

Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather may not enter the ring again. Although he had displayed no aversion in accepting exhibition bouts, the same may not happen from this point.

After a close collision with a YouTuber, Mayweather clearly seems to have passed his prime. So, he may not want to risk his legacy at this point.

What’s next for Floyd Mayweather?

Following an undefeated 50-0 career, Mayweather doesn’t need to fight anymore. He has attained it all in the sport, beating 16 world champions in a row, and holding gold at five distinct divisions.

Moreover, his superstardom has earned millions into the accounts of Mayweather, with the latest check coming against Logan Paul.

So, re-matching Manny Pacquiao might be out of the question since 42-year-old ‘Pac-Man’ is still active as a professional. He will face WBC/IBF 147 lbs champion Errol Spence Jr. in a massive showdown in August. As Mayweather has walked away from the professional circuit, May-Pac 2 is unlikely to happen anytime soon.

The first fight between them saw ‘Money’ land one of the biggest paydays, along with a win over ‘Pac-Man’. So, he shall not risk the legacy by going against a veteran one more time, especially after a disappointing performance against Logan Paul.
