The undefeated Filip Hrgovic is eyeing a return to the ring before mid-2021. He is in talks with Martin Bakole for a heavyweight clash, as early as April 2021.

Dan Rafael reported that the pair are in serious discussions over scheduling a fight for spring. He even rolled out the speculated dates for this fight, which is April 17 or 24.

The pair is keen on securing a rank in the top-10 of the heavyweight roster. That said, this fight is extremely vital for the duo as they aim to mold their careers and become worthy championship contenders.

The Croatian Hrgovic is cited among the finest heavyweight prospects and has a 12-0 (10 KO) track-record. The 28-year-old fought twice in 2020 and finished both his opponents via T/KO. The ‘Stone Man’ has an astonishing reach (77″) and capitalizes on this juncture over fellow combatants.

On the flip side, Martin Bakole’s career graph has only increased in the past couple of years. After his first and only loss in 2018, Bakole has secured 5 consecutive wins to solidify his resume. He last fought on the Joshua vs Pulev card in December, wherein he dominated Sergey Kuzmin for a unanimous decision win.

Given the form of both fighters, fans will be in for an absolute treat in the spring.
