Boxing’s very own superstar and former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is making his comeback to the ring. The unbeaten champ will be facing his former sparring partner, Don Moore, in a highly exclusive exhibition bout. Ahead of the exhibition, the organizers of the event, Global Titans, revealed the first look design of the fight’s ‘Helipad’ ring.

Mayweather will face Moore in a ring located on the helipad of the ultra-luxurious Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai. Moreover, the helipad ring for the fight is said to be situated  700 ft above the ground.

Global Events recently released an animated video showcasing the ring design and the seating arrangements.

The video shows an intricately designed ring, leaving the viewer in awe of the rather painstaking process of building a structure at that height. Not to mention, on the helipad of one of Dubai’s most prominent landmarks.

The highly exclusive live audience will sit at a slight elevation from the ring, thereby ensuring optimum viewing of the bout. Those in attendance will also be treated to a breathtaking view of Dubai’s landscape in the background.

Previously, the company had shared a sneak peek of the helipad prior to the construction of the ring. It is worth noting that the intriguing ring and location are a testament to how ‘Money’ has always set the bar for the impossible.

Floyd Mayweather to battle Don Moore amongst the clouds

Boxing fans have been on the edge of their seats ever since the Mayweather vs Moore showdown was first announced.

The Colossal Titan of boxing will go up against his long-time sparring partner as a part of the ‘Global Titans Fight Series’. It is also worth noting that the bout is the world’s first NFT pay-per-view event.

This highly anticipated showdown taking place on May 14 will only have an audience of 20 people in attendance. Moreover, the mind-numbingly expensive tickets, sold as NFTs, are said to cost over USD 187,000 each.

Mayweather is not the only legend who will be stepping into the helipad ring. The OG GOAT of MMA Anderson Silva will also step in the ring to face the formidable Brazilian Bruno Machado.
