The challenger capitalized on his jabs in the later rounds and kept the champ on his toes. Prodan later began pressing Marku with his wild hooks and he even had him on the ropes. The champ even struck his foe with a slick combination of straight rights and hooks in round 2.

The underdog Marku then replied with some noteworthy jabs, and power-packed left hands. But he couldn’t really stagger his rival with his power. The underdog, however, enjoyed his moments in round 3.

As the fight went on, Marku improved, in the later rounds, and he certainly tested Prodan’s defense. Using his reach, the southpaw boxer landed some fiery jabs to stun Prodan. Marku figured out his opponent’s style, and he kept counter-attacking with some impressive punching speed.

Prodan seemed not to be doing as well in the later rounds, and it seemed like he was finding it difficult to hammer Marku. The champ, however, brought some pace in round 6, wherein he came out with some quick jabs.
