Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has competed in five exhibition matches since he retired from professional boxing back in 2017. He recently faced YouTube sensation Deji in a bout a few weeks back at the Coco-Cola arena in Dubai. However, there is one man Mayweather might not be interested in fighting.

Former unified light-welterweight champion Amir Khan recently revealed that Mayweather would not be interested in facing him in an exhibition bout despite many wanting to see him return.
In an interview with Second’s Out, Khan was asked about the chances of a bout materializing with the former five-division champ. Khan claimed that although the match could have been made a couple of years ago at this stage in their careers the bout seemed highly unlikely.
“I mean no. I don’t think me and Floyd I think we would (have) fought couple of years ago with me talking and him talking” he said.
Moreover, he added that Mayweather felt disrespected when he was asked if a fight could be possible and didn’t see any chance of it changing now.
“I just feel that he feels embarrassed and I think he kind of feels like maybe at times he felt disrespected when my name was mentioned. So yeah I don’t think that will happen.” he added
Khan was one of the top prospects from the UK and was also touted to be the next Mayweather. However, his career seemed to move downward after his losses to Canelo Alvarez and Lamont Peterson. Following this, he would retire from boxing back in May after losing to Kelly Brook.

“Amir Khan is reaching and reaching and reaching. He has been reaching his whole career, he was a pretty cool fighter. He wasn’t a Floyd Mayweather or any of the other top guys, he did what he had to do. He’s a cloud chaser. I’m not even worried about Amir Khan. I guess he is big in the UK but no one in the US really knows him unless you’re really into boxing.” said Mayweather in an interview with the Daily Mail

There was a time when fans would have loved to see the two dish it out in the ring. However, both fighters are now way past their prime and also retired from the sport. Thus an exhibition between the two might not be a fight fans would be highly vested in.
