A couple of days back, Floyd Mayweather stirred the boxing community with his post about Deontay Wilder’s ex-coach, Mark Breland. He had some amazing words for Breland, and with that, he seemingly took wild shots at ‘The Bronze Bomber’. That said, many fans couldn’t figure the actual equation between Mayweather and Breland.
But recently, Breland himself cleared the air on this matter on Instagram. He shared a picture of Floyd Mayweather and shed some light on his relationship with ‘TBE’.
Mark Breland wrote, “So I have never gotten to know this Man on a personal level. I’ve had more than a few conversations with his uncle Roger & a couple with his father. So from only knowing @floydmayweather from his showmanship personality you only THINK you know a little about him!”

“NUMBERS DON’T LIE..look back at the age he was when he BEAT some of the P4P greats..I appreciate his post & it would only be someone like him to not care who liked his post or not, cause he cannot & will not be controlled.”
Breland, astonishingly, had some words of encouragement for Mayweather.
Mayweather and Breland never really got in touch with one another. However, their virtual respect towards each other makes it look like the pair were on good terms for many years.
Did Floyd Mayweather really take a shot at Deontay Wilder?
Deontay Wilder sacked Mark Breland after his rematch with Tyson Fury. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ parted ways with Breland because he threw a towel to stop his fight in the seventh round.

That said, Mayweather recently saw an opportunity to hit at Wilder, after his vicious loss to Fury in a trilogy. Sharing Breland’s image, Mayweather wrote, “Please hit the follow button if you want to follow a humble student, teacher, mentor, and coach in the sport of boxing. He has all the credentials and qualifications to support why I recognize him as an elite boxing coach, something that nowadays many unqualified people claim to be.”

Not only Wilder, but it seemed Mayweather also took a slight jibe at Malik Scott. Meanwhile, Wilder‘s current trainer, Malik Scott, took it to his Instagram story and addressed the same. He asserted that Breland doesn’t really like Mayweather.
