Floyd Mayweather is an undeniable superstar in the sport of boxing. In his impeccable career, ‘Pretty Boy’ achieved the greatest of heights. That said, hardcore fans and boxing pundits regard him as the best boxer of all time.

Even after retirement, Mayweather has stayed right on top of news headlines. He made the headlines once again after receiving an accolade from the State of Oklahoma.

Mayweather tweeted, “I wanna thank the state of oklahoma for my very own honorary day this year we will be celebrating Mayweather Day at a later date do to my busy schedule OKC, this day is long overdue! Don’t lose heart, will be together soon….March 2022. Details coming soon!!”

Mayweather‘s next outing is reportedly set to come to life on February 20 against a YouTuber named Money Kicks. There is massive news about this fight happening atop the Burj Al Arab in the UAE. Citing that, Mayweather is bound to remain busy with all the progress of this potential clash.

As a result, he couldn’t even be there to celebrate ‘Mayweather Day’. Despite that, the 50-0 boxer assured fans that he would celebrate the same soon.
