The southpaw gun’s much-awaited clash with Rolando Romero that will land on May 28 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn will probably be the last fight of ‘Tank’ Davis with Mayweather promotions.

But the recent threat that had sped up the former champion’s problem is Golden Boy Promotions’ owner, Oscar De La Hoya. The Hall of Famer boxer has expressed his eagerness to sign the potential future face of boxing.

Oscar De La Hoya on Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia: "Tank Davis, I heard that he's leaving Mayweather, so hey, give me a call and we'll make that fight happen next. I wouldn't mind making a three-fight deal with him just to make that fight happen." [@TMZ_Sports]
