Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is ready to step back into the squared circle for his next exhibition bout; he will face Japanese MMA sensation Mikuru Asakura on September 24th in the Saitama Super Arena. Notably, this will be Mayweather’s second outing in Japan after he knocked out kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa back in 2018.

However, ‘Money’ was in for a surprise before his next bout after he received a gift worth $1 million. In a video, Mayweather can be seen along with his superstar jeweler Jonny Dang in a private jet where he copped a million-dollar chain.

Moreover, Dang seemed grateful for the opportunity to be on a plane with the former world champion. Mayweather also promotes Dang and revealed that he would be flying along for his bout against Asakura.

Celebrities f**k over different icons, different athletes. Jonny, you by far one of the best, we can continue to do business. You my guy and Jonny is going to Japan for my exhibition this month. I got another exhibition in Dubai my guy gonna be there and my jeweler flying with me,” he said.

Dang has become one of the most renowned jewelers in the world and a staple in celebrity culture. Some of the most popular celebrities, rappers, and athletes have all cited Dang as their jewelry guy.

Despite being so popular, he also caters to the normal public and has a store in Huston named Johnny Dang & Co. Moreover, Mayweather has purchased the majority of his collection from Dang, spending millions of dollars on his collection, which seems to be growing every day.

Floyd Mayweather wants to face Conor McGregor in his next fight

Mayweather recently revealed his plans following the bout with Asakura. In an interview with Daily Mail, ‘Money’ stated that there were ongoing talks about a potential rematch against UFC superstar Conor McGregor in 2023. “I want to go out there this weekend and have fun. Then I have another exhibition [in] Dubai in November and me and Conor McGregor in 2023,” he said.

The two first competed back in 2017 in Mayweather’s last professional fight. ‘Money’ would go on to beat the Irishman and get his record to the coveted 50-0. Since then, he has only competed in exhibitions and now looks to meet his former foe once again.
