There have been a lot of big-shot boxers who have made millions. But, no one has ever even come close to making as much as the man who has money in his nickname, Floyd Mayweather. From buying the most expensive cars and watches to putting up millions for bets, there is no doubt Mayweather has been reaping the benefits of the financial empire he built by making smart business decisions.
The undefeated 50-0 fighter has investments all across the world. However, one of his biggest purchases was made back in 2021 when he bought a roller skating rink. Mayweather took to Instagram to ask his audience to come and celebrate his investment’s third anniversary.

Mayweather had spent upwards of $4 Million on a skating rink. He named it Skate Rock City. The song “Detroit Rock City” by Kiss may also be referenced in the new name, paying homage to Michigan. Mayweather in his post wrote, “If you’re in Las Vegas come be a part of the culture and help us celebrate our anniversary this weekend.”

Many fans took to the comment section to ask when Mayweather himself would be present there. Moreover, the event is to be held for three days from the 26th of January to the 28th, from 9 pm to 2 am. With Mayweather’s grand career, events like these only play a small part in his life. But, there is another event that was just announced that is definitely more significant.
Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao rematch?
Manny Pacquiao declared exactly a year ago that he had signed a deal with RIZIN, a Japanese promotion, for an exhibition boxing fight. While the fight never took place in 2023, there seem to be talks of one happening this year. RIZIN boss Nobuyiki Sakakibara invited Pacquiao to the stage and spread the news of a possible rematch opportunity against Mayweather.

Pacquiao first apologized for not being able to fight in 2023 and told the crowd that he was ready now. “Next year, I hope to see you here in Japan with a big fight against…” Pacquiao said. His statement was finished by Sakakibara who shouted, “FLOYD MAYWEATHER”.
However, there has been no confirmation about the rematch from Mayweather or his representatives.
